Cruise Party
By Belinda Mettarod
Singles may cruise the bars, but I cruise the sea!
I’ve taken singles cruises for nearly every vacation these past few years. You’ve heard about them. The Caribbean is famous for those. Lots of tropical islands and beautiful sunny days! I love it. They don’t cost too much, either. You’ll find cruises for as little as $500 for 3 days up to $2000 for a week or more. Usually your food, the parties and other amenities come with it. Check the details on the ones you want before you make a reservation.
The web has thousands of cruise sites and tons of cruises you can book. Try www.singlescruise.com for a start. Check the itineraries to see what sorts of activities there are. There will be a map for your cruise and believe it or not, chat rooms where you can meet up with others who are going!
These singles cruises are like a floating party. They hire great chefs and offer great food. Drinks tend to be exotic. You can participate in scheduled activities like mixers, cocktail parties, and island tours. Holiday cruises will celebrate it with an appropriate party like Halloween costume parties and Christmas parties. There are usually prizes given for the best costume and such.
Cruise ships have almost every entertainment you can find on land. You’ll find dancing, music, movies, buffets, gyms, pools, spas and casinos. Pamper yourself while you’re out at sea. Enjoy meeting other singles. The party never ends. I usually mingle a lot. I’ll to go almost every event. But there have been times when I’ve met someone I liked and we hang out a lot for most of the cruise. Sometimes we stay in touch afterwards. Some day I may even meet “the one” on a cruise. It could happen!
